Hi, I was just a young un at the time but I think Norman was friends or at least worked closely with Ken Snowdin Tony Reddington and possibly Francis Xavier O'Malley. Hope this helps.

My meeting with Norman was brief Between 1969 and 1973 whilst Parts Manager at St Austell Depot South Wales supplied us with quite a few characters helping out with all the work thrown on us by Western Excavatings large fleet of Euclid/Terex equipment Norman was a larger than life character who liked his fair share of St Austell ales Mainly in the Grenville Arms? at Nanpean Just outside the gates of the Drinnick Depot Spent a few nights in his company and always had a bad head the next day

Yes Hannah, you are right. I remember Dad mentioning Ken,Tony and Francis. I believe Dad started off in Shepton Mallet and we moved to Northampton in 1977.
